Pray for Us

God blesses the ministry of Bread of Life Rescue Mission through the prayers of friends like you

For over a decade, the BREAD OF LIFE RESCUE MISSION has been serving the needs of the hurting, hungry, hopeless, and working poor. We have done this work in and through prayer.

There is no greater way you can serve the BREAD OF LIFE  than to pray. The needs of the community we serve are great; but, our God is greater still. We know, through experience, that prayer changes things.

We ask  you consider the following needs as you pray:

For those men and women struggling with physical, emotional, and spiritual pain who turn to the Bread of Life, pray that they would experience God’s kindness and compassion.

For those whose who don’t know Jesus, pray their hearts would be open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

For those truly desiring change, pray that they would have the strength and perseverance to make decisions that will result in their good.

For those serving at the Bread of Life, pray that they would be filled with wisdom, patience, kindness, and encouragement that come from God alone.

For the operational needs of the Bread of Life ministry, pray for financial provision to meet the needs of others.

Want to pray with others?

Consider joining us every Tuesday morning at 8:30 am at the Bread of Life Rescue Mission. You will meet other members of our team who share your passion to pray for the Bread of Life.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

~ Philippians 4:6-7

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inerrant, inspired Word of God. It constitutes God's authoritative, infallible standard and guide for faith and living practice.

We believe in one triune God: Father Almighty, Jesus Christ - His only begotten Son & our Lord and Savior - and the Holy Spirit; three in one.

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

We believe Christ was crucified, died to redeem us of our sins, was buried and rose again bodily on the third day so that we, through faith, will have eternal life.

We believe Christ ascended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for us.

We believe the Holy Spirit abides with us to convict us of our sins, move us to righteousness and guide us in the discernment of truth.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ with equality across racial, gender, class, and denominational differences.

We believe that Christ shall return and receive us unto Himself and where He is, there we may also be.

We believe that the unsaved will be eternally separated from God.
