Community Impact of Bread of Life Rescue Mission
Helping Homeless and Hungry in North County

Bread of Life Rescue Mission of Oceanside, CA serves the poor, hungry, and homeless in a six-city area comprised of Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Escondido, and Encinitas. The need is growing but the resources are shrinking!

Who We Help:

  • Veterans
  • Seniors
  • Disabled
  • Single Parents
  • Low Income Families
  • … the least among us.

How We Help:

Provide Food, Clothing, Personal care items and referral services to approximately 10,000 individuals per month.

In additional, we offer spiritual encouragement and facilitate new beginnings. We operate an Emergency Winter Shelter and provide Case Management and Counseling.

Our Proven Results:

The Alliance for Regional Solutions North County (the “Alliance”) has reported in recent years that approximately HALF of its overnight guests have obtained traditional shelter — no longer members of the homeless population. Bread of Life has helped play a major role in this stunning accomplishment!
