Our Services

We offer Sunday Chapel services, case management, counseling, housing and recovery referral service, nightly to-go lunches, food bag for working poor, over night winter shelter, clothing and bus passes.

  • SUNDAY CHAPEL

  1. Bread of Life Church Service
  2. Service 11am
  3. Bible available upon request
  • MEALS MINISTRY  Nightly 5:30 – 7:00pm – Volunteer’s Needed

  1. Intake, drug test, picture identification
  2. Coffee/Beverage service 4:30 – 5:30pm
  3. Chapel service 5:30 – 6:00pm
  4. Dinner service 6:00 – 6:30pm
  5. Clean up of facility 6:30 – 7:00pm

Food Program

Food available 9:00am – 12:00pm – Monday-Wednesday-Friday
The food pantry gives out the available food, on a first come, first serve basis or until the food is gone each day. Bread of Life Card Members will receive 2 Food bags per month containing meat and other items. Please sign up with Bread of Life Waiting List if you do not have a Member Card currently.

Produce handout from Feeding America the 1st Tuesday of every month from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Produce handout from San Diego Food Bank the last Thursday of every month from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
Please bring a bag to carry the food you receive. No Bread of Life card needed, but you will need to sign-in each time for the food received.

  4. Socks every 2-3 days in winter
  5. Personal hygiene items (women)
  6. Winter clothing/jackets/sweatshirts
  7. Blankets/sleeping bags
  8. Bicycles (when available)

     WINTER SHELTER MINISTRY – Open December 1st – March 31st

    1. Overnight shelter

    5. Coffee and Snack in the morning
    6. To go lunch
