2017 Shelter Update from Pastor Alan

Dear Bread of Life supporters,

We are coming to the end of our “Shelter Season” and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. Each and every one of you makes such a difference to the lives of so many people and we could not have done it without all of your support. Your support provides:

  • Our overnight shelter houses 50 people per night.

32 men and 18 women with a wait list of 90 men, and 40 women. The need is growing.

  • Dinner for 70 to 80 guests each evening.
  • The food pantry is now supporting between 60 to 70 people, Monday through Friday, an all time high.
  • Fresh produce distribution twice a month has been helping up to 300 guests each month.

Bread of Life is continuing to thrive, providing food, refuge, spiritual and community support to hundreds of individuals. Many people have been able to find permanent housing and stable jobs through Bread of Life. It is so wonderful to see our community coming together, bringing positivity and change to so many people’s lives and we thank you for making that happen.

We are blessed to have such dedicated and wonderful volunteers and financial support. But the number of people needing help continues to grow faster than our resources.

Please continue to support us as we grow with your prayers, volunteering, and financial support. Would you take a moment to consider increasing your support today?

Blessings,

Pastor Alan
